What to Bring

You will need to bring your rods, reels, tackle, net, and fillet knife. Depending on when you are visiting, you will need clothing to dress in layers as the weather can be cold in the spring. Be sure to include rain gear. Other items you will want to pack are battery powered alarm clock, sunscreen and insect repellent, medications and your camera. If you have a reservation for the housekeeping plan you will need to include your own food, paper towels, toilet paper and plastic bags. Remember to pack carefully the float plan has a weight limit per person to include gear.

Wilderness Fishing Oasis is only accessible by float plane. The cost of this flight is included with your rate and arrangements will be made by our staff with Northwest Flying Inc.. Don't over pack. The weight limit per person is 80lbs.

You'll need to make sure you have your fishing license BEFORE you arrive. Please visit the Ontario Government website. Or, you can visit Bite Me Bait & Tackle at 1620 Hwy 71 in Nestor Falls, ON.

Wilderness Fishing Oasis is located in Zone 5. Here is a link to the fishing regulations and limits for the area.

If you are visiting us from outside of Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency has all the information you need about what you need to get into the country and what you are allowed to bring in.
